About Julie Dawn Cole
Julie Dawn Cole, born 26 October 1957 is best remembered for her role as Veruca Salt in the cult film Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory in 1971.
Although she has had other acting roles, in the theatre and pantomime and in the TV series Angels and Poldark and latterly in Emmerdale, she will always be most famous for Veruca.
She has two children and currently works as a psychotherapist, having spent some time running a children’s acting drama school and also having trained as a fitness instructor.
